Which therapist is right for me?
Many people contact us unsure which therapist would be the best fit for them, and that's completely understandable.
If you already have a preference for a particular therapist, simply let us know in the free text box on the enquiry form. If that therapist has availability, we will do our best to arrange this. If they are currently fully booked, we can suggest another clinician with similar expertise.
If you're unsure who would be the best match, we're happy to help. Based on the difficulties you're experiencing, your treatment preferences and your availability, we will recommend the therapist within our practice who is best placed to support you.
Our goal is to help you find the right person, not simply the first available. We understand that every person is different. Our aim is to help you find a therapist who not only has the right expertise, but is also the best possible fit for you.

In addition, I have a particular interest in perinatal mental health and workplace wellbeing, helping people navigate the emotional challenges that can arise during major life transitions, parenthood, and professional life.
Above all, I aim to create a supportive, non-judgemental space where you feel listened to, understood and empowered to make meaningful changes. I see therapy as a partnership, and I value working together to help you build confidence, overcome difficulties and move towards the life you want to lead.
Working hours: Wednesdays, 9.00am to 5.00pm, and Thursday mornings.

I am a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with over 10 years of experience working in both NHS and private practice settings. Alongside my clinical work, I teach and supervise on an accredited CBT diploma programme in Scotland, which helps me stay up to date with the latest research and best practice in psychological therapy. I enjoy supporting both clients and trainee therapists to overcome challenges, build confidence and reach their full potential.
I have extensive experience helping people with anxiety disorders and depression, including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Social Anxiety and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In my current NHS role, I work with individuals who have developed anxiety and depression following traumatic experiences, delivering therapy in both individual and group formats. This has given me valuable experience working with complex difficulties while maintaining a strong evidence-based approach.
Before training as a CBT therapist, I worked as a Speech and Language Therapist. This background has shaped my commitment to making therapy as accessible, engaging and effective as possible. I am passionate about adapting therapy to suit the individual, ensuring that people feel understood and able to make the most of the therapeutic process.
My approach is warm, compassionate and collaborative. I believe that lasting change happens when people feel safe, supported and able to work openly towards their goals. Together, we will develop a shared understanding of the difficulties you are facing and identify practical, evidence-based strategies to help you move forward. I value building a trusting therapeutic relationship and aim to create a space where you feel heard, encouraged and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.
Working hours: Monday and Thursday daytime, Tuesday and Thursday early evenings, and Saturday mornings.

I am a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with a passion for helping people navigate some of life's most challenging, and often most transformative, experiences. I support individuals struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, OCD and PTSD, as well as those who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about the direction of their personal or professional lives. Seeing the positive changes people can achieve through therapy continues to inspire and motivate my work.
I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative and genuinely human, rather than intimidating or overly clinical. My aim is to create a space where you feel comfortable talking openly about your experiences and working through difficulties at a pace that feels right for you.
Alongside Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I incorporate mindfulness-based approaches to help people better understand and challenge unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour. These approaches can also help build resilience, increase self-awareness, and develop a greater sense of calm, confidence and self-compassion. Together, we can identify practical strategies that support lasting change and help you move forward with greater clarity and purpose.
At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy is a partnership. I aim to provide a safe, respectful and non-judgemental environment where you feel heard, understood and supported. Together, we will develop a shared understanding of the difficulties you are facing and work towards meaningful goals that matter to you, helping you create positive and lasting changes in your life.
Working hours: Tuesdays (11.00am to 3.00pm), Wednesdays (11.00am to 2.00pm), and Thursdays (10.00am to 3.00pm).
