Fees

I charge £120 per session, and each session lasts 60 minutes.

In some instances clients may request sessions lasting longer than one hour, for example if it is necessary to conduct a session outside the therapy room. The fees for these services will be negotiated prior to the session. Sessions will mainly or exclusively be conducted inside the therapy room.

Sessions cancelled with more than 48 hours notice will not be charged for. If 48 hours notice of cancellation is not provided, the session will be charged at the full rate.

Supervision

I charge £120 per hour for supervision of clinical colleagues.

Private insurance

I am an approved provider with most medical providers, including AXA PPP, BUPA, Cigna and Norwich Union.

In most instances I will be prepared to see clients without a referral. However, if you are registered with a private healthcare insurer and wish to have part or all of the fees paid for by the insurer, a referral from your psychiatrist or GP may be required by the provider in order to cover your fees. Please check with your provider what their criteria are. Some providers such as BUPA will accept either GP or psychiatrist referrals.

Please note that clients with medical insurance are responsible for ensuring that their fees are paid in full. In some instances insurance companies will only pay for part of session fees, or for a limited number of sessions, depending on the policy. Where the medical insurance company fails to pay for any or all of the session fees for any reason, clients will be liable for payment of the outstanding fee.
